Kazakhstan, 13th Nov 2023, King NewsWire – For the second day of the China International Import Expo in Shanghai, Kazakhstan’s stands are being visited by foreign guests.
Among the distinguished visitors are Wang Shouwen, Vice Minister of Commerce, Zhang Ming, Secretary General of the SCO, Jing Liu, Vice Chairman and President of Bank of China Ltd. Jing Liu, Head of the Hong Kong, and Macau Affairs Group Unit Gu Qiankang (Gu Changkang), Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, as well as ambassadors, representatives of foreign delegations, business circles and government agencies of China.
The visitors had an opportunity to taste the products of Kazakhstan’s brands and appreciate their quality and special flavour.
As Mr Gu Qiankang noted, the delegation of the Nantong Municipal Government plans to find reliable partners for importing food, agricultural products, and other goods at the Expo.
According to Shahin Mustafayev, the international import exhibition in Shanghai is a unique and important platform for the SCO member states, which are making all necessary efforts to boost trade between the countries, develop economies and improve the welfare of the population.
This year Kazakhstan is represented by more than 40 companies at the CIIE import exhibition. On the margins of the EXPO, manufacturers present their own products to visitors and hold meetings and business negotiations with potential partners.
Kazakhstan’s exposition is located on two stands with a total area of almost 380 square metres. The Sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) will run until 10 November.
More than 3,400 companies and 394,000 professional visitors have registered for the event.
